Medium to deep red. There is lifted sweet berry fruit on the nose with a lick of chocolate and lovely sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. The approachable palate has ripe summer berries with hints of musk and liquorice. The creamy oak adds to the mouthfeel and richness of the wine. The wine finishes with silky soft tannins and good length of berry fruit. Drink young or loose in the cellar for a couple of years.
The Boombox is a blend of fruit from our own vineyard in Angaston and a vineyard in the North-Western part of the Barossa. There is still the typical rich Barossa fruit, but with some cooler climate spice, complexity and a fine tannin structure
